Food Science & Fermentation Club

Hi Lowell! We are the food science and fermentation club! Ever wondered about what’s happening in that jar of Kimchi? Dive into the world of preserving vegetables, baking bread, crafting kombucha, and other exciting fermentation and pickling projects. We also explore unique flavors of cheese from various origins, along with more 'exotic' foods like caviar. At this club, we strive to explore new ways to have a healthy gut and lifestyle, expose students to new flavors, and educate the community about the origins of the foods we eat. In the FALL, we meet every other Wednesday in S205 from 2:35pm-4pm. In the SPRING, we meet every other Tuesday in S205 from 3:45pm-4:30pm! Feel free to drop by anytime and don’t forget to follow us on instagram for updates on our meetings!

Meetings: We meet every Wednesday at Wednesday 2:35-4pm (for fall semester); Tuesday 3:40-4:30pm (for spring semester)
